Student Empowerment

Practical Skills & Mentorship

Hands-on skills, a mentor who has done the job, and the resources the work actually requires.

Student Empowerment pairs practical skills training with a mentor already working in the field. Mentorship runs for a fixed term rather than indefinitely, with a stated cadence, so both sides know what they have agreed to.

Alongside the mentoring, participants receive the resources the work requires: the software licence, the reference material, the data.

Who it is for

  • Students who have a direction and need someone ahead of them on the path
  • Participants completing a Skills Development track

What happens, step by step

  1. Apply with a direction

You do not need a plan. You need a field.

  2. Matching

We pair you with a mentor working in that field.

  3. A fixed term

An agreed cadence, for an agreed number of months.
